My monthly log is just a fancy to-do list, and I'm okay with that
I've been bullet journaling for 3 years now, and every time I see people rave about their elaborate collections and trackers, I feel like I'm doing it wrong. Last month I tried adding a mood tracker and a habit grid, spent 2 hours setting it up, and never touched either after day 4. My weekly spread is literally just a list of tasks with tiny checkboxes, no colors, no washi tape, nothing. Last week someone in my local meetup group said my journal looked "unfinished" which honestly stung a bit. But here's the thing, I actually use mine daily, while they spend more time decorating than logging. Is anyone else keeping it this bare bones, or am I missing some secret that makes the fancy stuff actually stick?
