A girl at the coffee shop in Boise said my weekly spread had no breathing room, and she was right
I showed a stranger my journal at the coffee shop in Boise last Tuesday because she asked what I was writing in, and she took one look at my weekly spread and said it looked like a parking lot at rush hour. I had crammed 6 habit trackers, a mood chart, and every meeting into one page, so I couldn't even find my Tuesday plans without squinting. That night I cut it down to 3 trackers and left a two inch margin on each side, and suddenly I could actually read the thing. It's silly but opening it now feels calm instead of stressful. How much empty space do you all leave on a weekly spread before it starts feeling wasteful?
