A guy at the library said he fills one page per day no matter what, and it fixed my whole setup
I was at the library on Elm Street last Tuesday, waiting for my kid at the reading tables, and started chatting with a guy about his notebook. He said he does exactly one page a day, no matter what, and if his list runs out of room he just keeps the extra for tomorrow's page. He marks the date at the top, writes the tasks, and anything that doesn't fit carries over instead of getting squeezed in the margins. I tried this for the last 9 days and my daily log finally looks calm instead of looking like a scratched up parking ticket. My old habit was cramming 3 days onto one spread and then skipping a whole week when things got busy. So my question: does anyone else cap themselves at one page a day, and what do you do when a Monday has like 14 things on it?
