Warning: Just finished a 200-foot cedar fence in one day
Two-man crew, me and my cousin. We started at 6 AM, broke for lunch at noon. Used a hydraulic post driver for the first time. That thing is a game changer. Got the last picket up right as the sun went down. Never thought we could move that fast on a residential job. Anyone else have a go-to tool that just cuts your time in half?

That hydraulic post driver is no joke, right? Once you use one, you can't go back to hand driving or mixing concrete for every hole. The time you save on just setting posts is huge. For us, getting a good cordless framing nailer was that same kind of jump. Went from swinging a hammer for every picket to just pulling a trigger. What's the next tool you're looking at trying out?

Man, my buddy tried one and nearly cried from joy, no joke.

You ever stop to think about the safety aspect of these tools though? That hydraulic driver means you're not bending over and twisting your back a hundred times per job, which is a killer over the years. Swapping a framing hammer for a nailer probably saved my shoulder just as much as my time, honestly.
