Rant: A dog kept burying bones in my fresh concrete footings.
We had to redo two posts because of that mutt.

Was the dog trying to help with the foundation? Nothing like a few bones for extra support, right?

Oh totally! My old dog did the same thing when we were putting in a patio. Dug up half the gravel base and buried his toys right under where the slabs were supposed to go. We didn't find them until the whole thing started sinking in one spot. Had to pull up three stones to dig out a soggy tennis ball. He was so proud of himself though, like he'd contributed something.
