Showerthought: My aunt thinks I'm on a permanent vacation because I work from Bali

I've stopped trying to explain that I'm actually working full-time. She just doesn't get the idea of remote work, and it's not worth the energy to convince her.

Remote work still blows some people's minds, mainly older folks. They just see the place and think it's all play, no work lol. Kinda funny how stuck in the old ways some minds are.

Seriously? They still judge work by where someone sits? That's honestly shocking. My dad called my setup a "hobby room" for months until he saw my output. The data shows remote teams often do more, not less. It's baffling how a location can blind people to actual results.
