Rant: I booked a flight to Lisbon for $400 by searching on Tuesday at 3 PM local time for three weeks straight.

Is the 'best day to book' myth actually real, or did I just get lucky with a random price drop that anyone could have found?

Yeah, the "just got lucky" thing is so real. I mean, I've had that happen to me a ton, where I pull something off and people act like it was all random. @phoenix845 gets it. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like they don't want to admit you might have actually done something right. Like last week I totally guessed the final score of a game and my friends all said it was a fluke. But I had been watching the teams all season, idk. It's not always pure chance.
