My laptop setup used to be a mess until I got stuck in a Chiang Mai cafe for 8 hours
Honestly, I used to just shove my laptop, mouse, and cables into my bag with no plan. That changed last year when my main charger broke in Thailand and I had to borrow a slow one from a cafe. I spent a whole workday there, my back was killing me from hunching over. The next week I bought a simple neoprene sleeve with pockets for about $15 and a small Anker power bank. Now I pack my bag the same way every morning, and it saves me so much time and stress when I need to move spots. Has anyone else found a basic packing system that made a huge difference?

My own Chiang Mai moment was a broken laptop hinge in a Lisbon hostel. I started using a cheap packing cube just for cables and adapters. It stops that frantic digging at the bottom of your bag every single time.
