My laptop charger died in a tiny town in Portugal last Tuesday
I was in the middle of a big client edit when my screen just went black. The charger had a burnt smell and wouldn't turn back on. The nearest store that might have one was a 90 minute bus ride away. I ended up finding a local repair guy who sold me a used, universal charger for 35 euros. It got me through the deadline, but the voltage was a bit off and my battery drained fast. Anyone know a good brand for a solid travel charger that can handle different plugs?

My buddy got stuck in Greece with a fried charger last year. He bought a cheap one at a kiosk that actually fried his laptop port, the repair cost a fortune. After that mess, he swears by Anker brand chargers with the interchangeable plug heads. They have ones that handle US, EU, and UK outlets all in one kit. He says the voltage stays steady and it hasn't let him down across three continents now.
