I ditched coworking spaces for cafes in Medellin and here is what happened
I spent my first month in Medellin paying $200 for a desk at a popular coworking spot. It had good wifi but I hated the quiet vibe and the forced socializing. Now I just rotate between three cafes in Laureles that have solid connections and charge me like $3 for coffee. The only downside is finding an outlet can be a game of luck. Has anyone else made this switch and dealt with the battery anxiety?

The real hidden cost of cafe hopping is how it messes with your productivity flow. Once you find that perfect spot with a working outlet and decent ambient noise, you're tethered to that table until your battery dies or you have to buy another overpriced latte. Maybe try carrying a compact power bank, it saved me from the scramble more times than I care to admit.

That power bank tip is solid, but how do you handle the awkward moment when you've been there for hours and feel pressured to keep ordering? Do you just buy a cheap tea and nurse it for another hour?
