Hostel coworking spaces vs coffee shop hopping in Budapest
After three weeks of trying both, hostel workspaces win every time for me since I can leave my laptop at the desk to grab lunch without worrying someone will steal it, has anyone else found a better setup for staying productive while traveling?

Three coffeeshops in Pest and a spilled cortado on my laptop later, I was ready to cry over the whole thing. Hostel workspaces at least have outlets that aren't four feet from the only table and a bathroom that doesn't require buying another tiny overpriced pastry to use. Plus the receptionist at my last hostel in Budapest actually knew my name by day two which felt like a solid win over the barista who pretended not to see me waving for a water refill. The only downside is the occasional snorer from the dorm next door but thats still better than the guy who set up his full DJ rig at a cafe table.

Spilled my entire pour over setup in a Budapest hostel kitchen once, trying to impress a girl from Toronto with my brewing skills. Ended up crying over a burnt tongue and a broken Chemex while she watched some guy's DJ set from a cafe down the street. Snorers are rough but at least they don't make you feel like a total clown in front of a crush.
