Can we talk about the weirdest coworking space I ever worked from

I was in a tiny town in Portugal last month, and the only spot with wifi was this little cafe that also sold fishing gear. The owner saw me struggling with my hotspot and said, 'You know, the internet is like the tide here, it comes and goes.' That simple line made me realize I've been trying to force a constant connection in places built for a slower rhythm. How do you adjust your work pace when the local vibe is just... different?

Read a study about how slower internet can actually boost creative problem solving.

But is it really the slower internet or just having less stuff to look at? @park.emery, maybe the study just shows we need more boredom in our lives. Not sure we need to make it a whole thing.

Maybe that's why my best ideas come when I'm forced to just sit and wait.
