The $25 vector file from Fiverr beat my 3 week custom build
I was sure buying a pre-made vector off Fiverr was gonna be trash, all clunky layers and weird fonts. But a logo I needed for a local coffee stand in Tulsa had a 3 week deadline and I only had 2 days after my other project ran long. The file came with every element separated, the color swatches matched my brand kit perfectly, and it scaled clean to a billboard mockup. Now I'm wondering if I should just always start with a cheap template and then refine it instead of building from zero. Has anyone else had a stock asset beat their own work, or do you think it was just luck?

Right, so my entire career is a LIE then. I spent years learning the perfect pen tool curve for THIS?? I'm about to fire my whole design process and just buy the $5 version of everything.
