My Hermes appointment went sideways but the Kelly was worth it

I waited 8 months for a leather appointment in Chicago, and the SA kept pushing a $4,200 Constance on me instead of the Kelly I wanted. After 20 minutes of polite back and forth, they finally brought out a 28cm Kelly in Etoupe, which was the exact thing I had in mind. The whole experience felt like a power game, but the bag itself is flawless and honestly makes my whole week better. Has anyone else had to play the 'just wait a little longer' game and end up walking out happy anyway?
