Warning: That layer naming trick I found in Portland last year cut my file review time by 40 percent
I used to name layers like "Layer 3 copy 2 final" and then wonder why I was scrolling for 10 minutes to find a button, but now I use a color tag system and a short prefix like "btn_primary" and it turned a 30 page file into something I can actually hand off to a dev without apologizing, has anyone else found a naming convention that makes you feel like you finally got your life together?

Nope but now I'm wondering what else I'm doing wrong without knowing it.

Respectfully I think you're overthinking it. Not everything needs to be some hidden rule you're missing.
