Vent: People who ignore the auto-save feature and lose hours of work

Last week I watched a coworker freak out because he lost 2 hours of Figma work after his laptop crashed. He never turned on auto-save and had been manually saving every 20 minutes. I showed him the auto-save interval setting and he just stared at me like I was a wizard. Does anyone else have teammates who refuse to learn basic tool features?

Oh man, here we go again with the "how dare people not know everything I know" posts. Is it really that deep though? Like yeah it sucks to lose work but we've all done something dumb before. I once spent three hours coding a spreadsheet macro and forgot to save once and lost it all, but I didn't come crying to the internet about it. People learn at their own pace and honestly Figma's auto-save can be kind of confusing with all those different version histories and stuff. Maybe cut your coworker some slack, not everyone grew up with perfect tech habits.

But is losing a macro the same as losing client work though?
