Tried a vector trace plugin after a coworker swore by it for 3 months

Honestly, I blew through 6 hours manually redrawing a logo last week before my coworker Dave showed me the autotrace plugin in Illustrator. He said “just hit trace and grab a coffee, it’s that simple.” No joke, it did in 30 seconds what took me half a day. Anyone else got a plugin that saved them a ton of time?

Wait, you're telling me I could have spent that 6 hours on something fun instead of crying over bezier curves? My coworker owes me a coffee for every manual redraw I've done this year.

Yeah the autotrace thing is a lifesaver for sure. I had a client logo that was super tiny and pixelated from their 90s website, tried redrawing it by hand for like 4 hours and got nowhere. Ran it through the image trace with 12 colors and high fidelity, came out clean in about a minute. Only had to fix two little spots where the curves got wonky. Now I just do a quick manual cleanup after the trace instead of starting from scratch every time.
