That moment last week when I realized I'd been duplicating layers wrong for 2 years

I was working on a dashboard mockup last Tuesday and trying to duplicate a complex group of layers about 15 times. I always right-clicked and selected "Duplicate" from the menu, which took forever. My coworker walked by and just hit Command+D three times in a row. I felt pretty dumb honestly. Turns out most design tools let you repeat your last duplicate action with a simple shortcut. Has anyone else had that thing where you've been doing something the hard way for way too long?

Three times? That hurts. So were you doing that right-click dance for EVERY single duplicate or just building up a whole lotta layers over 2 years?

Bet you never got the satisfaction of watching a massive layer stack collapse into one smart folder.

Honestly, @ben_shah93 that smart folder collapse is a beautiful thing, I finally learned to use them after watching a tutorial last year. What worked for me was turning a complex 50-layer nightmare into one folder and giving it a name like "buttons v3" so I could find it later. Tbh it saves so much time not digging through all those individual layers.
