Swapped my Wacom pen for a mouse on vector curves and it feels backwards

Used to trace everything with a stylus in Illustrator for years but last week I tried building a logo with just mouse clicks and keyboard shortcuts. Turns out the pen was slowing me down on clean anchor points and now I can't go back. Anyone else ditch their tablet for precision work?

Makes total sense, the precision is way better without the stylus wobble lol.

That old stylus wobble gave you some organic feel though @joseph_lewis92. On a screen that's too smooth, a little bit of that play mimics actual pen resistance on paper. Plus all the pro digital artists I watch still use matte screen protectors specifically to add drag back in, so maybe that wobble was doing some of that work already.
