Spent $150 on a fancy tablet stylus and went back to a $5 pen

Bought a name brand stylus for my iPad, thought it would level up my wireframes and sketches. Within 2 days the tip wore down and it kept disconnecting. My cheap capacitive pen never fails. Anyone else find expensive tools are just more headaches?

Man, I read something the other day about how these premium styluses are just overengineered. I think it was some tech blog saying the internals break way faster than the old cheap ones. Honestly, it sounds like you dodged a bullet by switching back, a simple pen that just works is usually the best bet.

I dunno man it's just a stylus not like you're deciding your kid's future here. Seems like a pretty easy fix to just grab the cheap one and move on.
