Showerthought: I spent $35 on a custom Figma plugin for auto-layout grids and it cut my mockup time in half.
It was a bit of a gamble, but after setting it up once, I can now generate complex responsive grids with one click instead of manually aligning everything for 20 minutes each time, so has anyone found a good plugin for auto-generating color palettes?

Yeah the "weird move" thing got me thinking. I once spent like two hours trying to get a free color palette plugin to work right, and it kept crashing my file. Ended up just making my own palette from scratch in the time I wasted. Sometimes the free stuff costs you more in frustration.

Exactly. Time is money, period. Wasting hours on broken free tools is a false economy. Just buy the good stuff and get back to work.

Honestly I've never paid for a plugin, I just stick with the free ones. I mean the Figma community has so many color tools that do the same thing for zero dollars. Maybe it's just me but dropping cash on something like that feels like a weird move when you can get it free.
