PSA: I was manually nudging objects for years before a coworker saw me and said 'just type the pixel amount'

I was aligning icons in Figma last week and she pointed at my arrow key, laughed, and told me to check the 'nudge amount' field. What's the dumbest thing you've done the hard way?

Yeah, the whole "nudging before the icons" thing. I was just trying to get the stupid cursor to move to the next line in a text box. It kept jumping back. Felt like I was fighting the website itself.

Okay but the manual nudge thing is so real. I spent literal hours in Photoshop once, moving a layer one pixel at a time with the mouse because I didn't know about holding shift with the arrow keys. My wrist hurt for days. Felt like a caveman discovering fire when someone finally showed me.
