I hit 50 custom shortcuts in Figma and it changed how I work

I was cleaning up my Figma setup last week and counted all the keyboard shortcuts I've made. It was 50 exactly. I started making them for small things, like swapping fill and stroke colors or toggling layout grids. Now I have one for making a component, another for picking a color from the screen, and even one that copies the exact spacing between two objects. The big surprise was how much time it saved on a recent project. I built a dashboard with over 100 repeating elements, and using my shortcuts cut the build time down by maybe a third. It wasn't about being fancy, it was just about not moving my hand to the mouse for every little step. Has anyone else made a bunch of custom shortcuts and found one that you use way more than the others?

I mean, copying the exact spacing between objects is built in with the option key. But yeah, making a shortcut for it is still smart.

Custom shortcuts are great until you have to use someone else's computer, like @the_ryan trying to show you something.

You mentioned cutting build time by a third. Did you track that time saved, or was it just a gut feeling from how the project flowed?
