Had the worst Figma day last Tuesday and my flow is still off
I was deep in a client project last Tuesday, around 2 PM, and I accidentally merged two layers I had been carefully spacing for an hour. My undo stack was totally gone because I had saved a new version right before. I spent the next 45 minutes manually redoing that whole block of buttons and padding. It completely killed my momentum and I ended up missing my own deadline by 3 hours. I think I need to start using version history more or maybe lock those layers before I tweak them. Has anyone else had a single mistake wreck their whole afternoon like that?

Did you feel that knot in your stomach when you realized the undo was gone? That's the worst. I once deleted an entire component library by accident, thought I backed it up but nope. Spent a whole weekend rebuilding it from scratch. Now I have trust issues with my own keyboard.

oh man i feel this in my soul. i literally have a folder of "lock these before you touch anything" notes plastered on my monitor now cause i've nuked too many layouts. try cmd+shift+s to save a timeline snapshot every time you make a big spacing change, it's saved me more times than i wanna admit.
