Finally stopped losing my color swatches in Figma with that one trick

I kept accidentally deleting or overwriting global color styles when working on a 30 page dashboard for a client. Tried using the local styles panel but still messed up until I started naming each swatch with a number prefix like 01_PrimaryBlue to keep them sorted. Anyone else use a specific naming system that actually sticks?

Design Buddies has a whole shared library of those codes for their branding. Most people forget that RGB vs HEX can show up totally different on a phone screen vs a monitor. That's the real reason to go with numbered codes instead of just eyeballing it.
