Figma auto-layout fight took 2 hours, felt like 2 days

I was rebuilding a client's dashboard components and the nested auto-layout frames kept pushing everything around every time I touched a padding setting, no clue why it kept snapping back. Turns out I had a fixed width on a parent frame that was fighting a hug content child, so the whole stack was glitching every resize. Has anyone else hit a weird auto-layout loop like this where the fix was something dumb and small?

Holy crap, that is way too relatable. I once spent a whole afternoon fighting a similar thing where my text box had a min width set to like 400px and the auto layout kept stretching the whole button, and I couldn't figure out why it ignored my width settings. The worst part is when you finally find it, it's just sitting there in the right panel looking at you like "oh yeah, I've been here the whole time". Makes you want to close Figma and take a walk, honestly.
