Bought a $40 shortcut plugin that replaced 3 separate tools I was using
I was spending way too long bouncing between Figma plugins for basic stuff like alignment and spacing. Dropped $40 on a combo plugin last month and now I hit one key instead of clicking through menus. Has anyone else found a single tool that actually saves them from juggling multiple ones?

Hold on, I get what you're saying but I gotta disagree a little. Paying $40 to replace three free plugins feels like buying a multitool because your regular screwdriver and scissors take too long. I tried that route once and the combo tool did everything okay but nothing great. Ended up going back to the separate ones because the shortcut was nice but the quality drop wasn't worth it. If your workflow is that tight, maybe the swap makes sense, but I'd rather take the extra 10 seconds and keep my tools sharp.

Is it just me or does this whole "one tool to rule them all" thing bleed into everything now? I see it with kitchen gadgets too. My buddy bought this all-in-one blender that chops, blends, and even makes soup. Now he's stuck cleaning this giant machine when a simple knife and pot would do the same job in half the time. The plugin shortcut sounds nice but you're probably trading speed for control. That's the trade-off nobody talks about. Sometimes having separate tools lets you be more precise.
