Paid $400 for a portfolio review, felt ripped off until I did the math
I hired a senior designer from a big agency for a one-hour video review of my portfolio last month. She gave me notes I mostly knew already, but one comment about my case study order led to a junior role interview last week. The question is, is paying for feedback ever worth it, or are free critiques from strangers just as good most of the time?
