My portfolio used to be a PDF download until a recruiter in Chicago told me they never open them
Three years ago, I switched to a simple website after that chat. Now I just link to it, and I've gotten way more replies. Anyone else find that a live site gets more eyes on your work than a file?

Exactly what I found too. @burns.brooke nailed it - if they have to click more than once, most people just move on. Keep it simple and make your site load fast on a phone, that's been the biggest difference for me.
