Looking at my portfolio from a year ago makes me cringe now

I was cleaning up my hard drive and found the PDF I sent out for jobs in early 2023. It was just a bunch of images slapped on pages with no story. Last month, I spent a weekend rewriting every single project description to explain my choices, like why I picked that specific blue for a food delivery app. The difference is huge. Has anyone else had a moment where they realized their old work just didn't explain the 'why'?
