I swapped my project photos for simple sketches and got more calls
After reading a blog post by a designer in Austin, I tried showing my process with rough pencil sketches instead of only polished final images. I put up three sketches for a recent branding job next to the finished logo. My site got the same traffic, but my email inquiries went up by about 30% in two months. People said the sketches made the work feel more approachable. Has anyone else found that showing the messy middle helps clients connect?

My buddy in Seattle saw a 40% bump doing that.

That 40% bump your buddy got is no joke. I did something close to that here in Portland last year. The key is tracking which channels actually bring in paying customers, not just likes. You gotta cut what's not working fast and double down on what is. @kai_stone99, is your buddy splitting his ads between search and social or just going all in on one? Because that mix made all the difference for me.
