I just hit 50 portfolio views in a single day and it's got me thinking

I updated my portfolio site last week, mostly just to add a new branding project I did for a local coffee shop. I didn't tell anyone, just posted it on my LinkedIn and forgot about it. Checked my site stats this morning and saw 50 views from yesterday, which is way more than my usual 5 or 6. It's not a huge number, but it's a big jump for me. I think the new project is getting more attention because I finally wrote a clear case study instead of just showing pretty pictures. I explained the problem the shop had, my process, and the results. It seems like people actually want to read the story behind the work. Has anyone else seen a big change after adding more detail to their project pages? What kind of info do you think helps the most?

Yeah, adding the "why" made a huge difference for me. I started putting a short paragraph at the top of each project page explaining the client's main problem. That's what gets people to stick around. Before that, it was just images and a list of services, which told no story at all.
