Ugh, been there. Got so wrapped up in making it look slick I forgot I'd have to actually explain it, total wake-up call.

That "wake-up call" john_hunt2 mentioned is real. You start picking fonts and colors because they just feel right, then someone hits you with a "why." Suddenly you're scrambling to explain why the submit button is on the left and not the right, and your gut feeling isn't a good enough answer. It forces you to build a reason for every single little choice, which honestly makes the final thing way stronger.
