Hit 50 portfolio revisions last year and it finally clicked

I tracked every single change I made to my design portfolio over 12 months. Got to 50 revisions before I noticed a pattern - my project descriptions were way too wordy. Cutting each one down to 3 sentences doubled the time people spent looking at my work. Has anyone else counted their edits and found a surprise like that?

Honestly, "three sentences doubled the time people spent looking" is wild. Did you test that before and after or just notice it from your portfolio analytics?

Same thing happened to me with my "about me" page (literally just added one short story about my cat and time on page jumped like crazy). It's wild how tiny tweaks can totally shift how people interact with your stuff.
