Heard a recruiter say my portfolio had too much 'process'
Last week I sat in on a portfolio review at a local AIGA meetup in Portland, and one recruiter straight up said my 30 page deck was exhausting because every project had 6 screens of wireframes and moodboards before the final. She said she skips to the last 3 images to see the result first, then scrolls back if she cares. I trimmed my PDF to 12 pages, put the final mockup on page 2 for each case study, and moved all the messy iteration stuff to a linked appendix. Has anyone else found that recruiters actually want less story and more straight visuals?
