Bakery in Portland had the most clever brand refresh I've seen in a while

I was grabbing a scone at this little bakery on Hawthorne last weekend, and I ended up standing there for like five minutes just staring at their menus and takeout bags. They rebranded from something called 'Sweet Treats' to 'Hearth & Honey,' and the whole vibe shifted from generic cute to this warm, earthy thing with hand-drawn illustrations of grains and bees. The color palette was just three shades of brown and a mustard yellow, nothing flashy, but it made me want to buy literally everything they had. I snapped a few photos of their packaging because it had this really clean hierarchy of information, even on a tiny sticker for their pastry boxes. Got me thinking about how much a consistent brand system matters for small businesses, especially when you're competing with a dozen other bakeries on the same block. Has anyone else run into a local spot that totally nailed their portfolio presentation in the wild?

Wait they seriously stood there for five minutes staring at menus and bags? That's longer than it takes me to decide on a new phone case. Must have been some serious bee illustrations.

Did the rebrand actually change their prices or just the look? Sweet Treats to Hearth and Honey feels like they're aiming for a more premium crowd. Would be curious if the new design brought in different customers or just made the regulars happy.
