Watching the new signs go up downtown made me realize something about fonts
Honestly, the city replaced all the old street signs in our main square about two months ago. The old ones were that basic, blocky Highway Gothic font, but the new ones use Clearview, which is way easier to read from a distance, especially at night. Ngl, I never paid attention to typeface design before, but seeing them side-by-side while they were installing them totally changed how I look at any public print now. Has anyone else noticed a specific font change in their area that actually made a real difference?

Wait, you think that's an overstatement?

Disagree with the original post. Most people don't notice fonts at all, they just read the words. The_tyler has a point about overstating things. It's just signs.
