Unpopular opinion: that free font you downloaded might get your print job rejected at the press
Honestly I was standing near the counter at a print shop in Columbus last week and heard a guy behind the desk tell a customer her 300 flyers were unusable since her font was some free download with no license for commercial use. She had already paid $180 and the files were locked. Tbh I did not know a missing license could stop a whole run like that. Has anyone else here run into a font licensing snag on a real job?
