Noticed a problem with digital proofs at my local print shop in Portland last week
The owner showed me how clients keep approving proofs on their phone screens without zooming in, then getting upset when the printed result shows pixelation they never saw, has anyone else dealt with this kind of thing in their own shop?

Hate when that happens, clients never see the fine details on those tiny screens.

My brother used to work in a print shop and he'd always warn people about those little details getting lost. Had one client who insisted on cramming a full street map onto a postcard. When it came back all blurry they blamed him like it was his fault. People see a phone screen and think it scales up perfectly but it never does. Just last week I saw a logo on a billboard that looked like a smudge from half a block away. Some things just need room to breathe.
