I finally had a perfect print day last Tuesday after 6 months of errors

I was cranking out 200 flyers for a local bakery in Portland and every single one came out crisp with no misalignments or ink smudges. My old printer usually jams at least once per run, but that day it was like magic. Has anyone else had a random day where everything just works perfectly?

My Epson Workforce 7720 gave me ONE perfect day back in March where I ran 50 menu inserts with zero jams. Then the next day it ate a sheet sideways and spat ink all over the place. I honestly think it's just luck or maybe the stars aligned. That printer is now sitting in my garage as a paperweight.

My printer and I have a toxic relationship where it works perfectly once every six months just to keep me hooked, then goes back to eating paper like it's a competitive eater at a state fair. The universe probably needed that one perfect day for the bakery but decided I didn't deserve a second one. At least your paperweight has a good story behind it, mine just sits there judging my paper tray choices.
