Can we talk about how much I wasted on premium marbled paper?

I spent $80 on a set of fancy Italian marbled paper for a client's wedding invites. The colors bled like crazy when I used my regular inkjet, totally ruined the first print run. Anyone else ever get burned by pricey paper that just doesn't play nice with your printer?

Premium paper is a trap. Learned that the hard way too.

Watched my buddy spend like $200 on a box of that fancy italian paper. He was so excited about it, kept talking about the deckle edges and the smooth feel. First time he tried printing his resume on it, the ink just bled everywhere and turned into a blurry mess. His printer totally freaked out too, kept jamming because the paper was too thick. He ended up using it to line his bird cage and went back to the cheap stuff from office depot. Still bitter about it when anyone brings up paper brands.
