A client told me my business card design was 'too loud' and it stuck with me
I designed a new card for myself last month, using this bright orange gradient background I really liked. I handed one to a client at a coffee meeting and she just stared at it for a second and said, 'It's a bit loud, isn't it? I can't find your number.' She was right, the text got lost. I went home and changed the whole thing to a simple white card with dark gray text and just a tiny orange accent line. It's way cleaner now. Has anyone else had a simple piece of feedback totally flip a design for you?

Sometimes the best feedback is the most direct. Your new card sounds way more functional.

Wait, did @tyler_baker just say the old card was better? I thought everyone hated how slow it was to use. The new one actually lets you tap to pay without it glitching out every single time.

My first logo was so loud it basically yelled at people. @tyler_baker is right about direct feedback saving us from ourselves sometimes.
