Twenty five years behind a chair and I still get surprised

Hit 30 years in the industry last month and what got me was the number of clients I've had who've stayed with me through three different salons. One lady in Akron has been coming to me every 6 weeks since 1998. Anyone else have a client that's stuck around that long?

That line about the lady from Akron really got me... twenty five years here too and I had a woman follow me from my first job at a Supercuts all the way through three shops of my own. She passed a couple years back and I still think about her every time I see her birthday in my book. It's wild how much trust they put in you, sticking with you through bad haircuts and good ones. That kind of loyalty is something else.

Eh, I mean it's cool and all, but isn't this just part of the job? lol. People find a barber they like and stick with them, doesn't have to be some deep life thing.
