You ever try switching to a cheaper toner for a few weeks after something like that happens? I ended up going back to a basic drugstore conditioner for a month just to let my hair reset. Sometimes those fancy ingredients are way too harsh when you're mixing them with other chemicals. Ugh, "ruined a perm job" really hits home because I've been there with pricey products backfiring at the worst time. $50 is a lot to drop on something that literally works against what you're trying to do. I feel your pain on that one.
