Realized I was holding my shears wrong after 5 years of cutting hair in Tulsa
Always had wrist pain and thought it was just the job until a booth renter showed me how to relax my grip with a tension adjustment last month, anyone else been doing something basic the wrong way forever?

Did your buddy charge you for that tip or just drop it for free? My friend Dave spent like 6 years flipping pizzas with a spatula that was way too small for the pans he used. He'd always complain about his elbow hurting and could barely bend it after shifts. Then a new kid came in fresh from some fancy pizza school and showed him you're supposed to use the wide offset spatula for big pans. Dave was so mad at himself he almost threw the old one in the trash right there.

Notice how learning the right tool makes everything click, @jamesblack it's wild how we just accept the struggle as normal.
