I'm baffled by the olive oil obsession in our salon.
Olive oil doesn't work for every hair type.

Seriously, it's that same magic fix mentality everywhere. Like coconut oil a few years back.

Coconut oil as sunscreen? That's how you get a bad burn.

My cousin actually tried that coconut oil thing a couple summers ago and ended up with a burn so bad she peeled for two weeks. I get that people are looking for natural options but sometimes the simple answer is just wear real sunscreen, you know? Like is it really that deep to grab a bottle of SPF 30? Coconut oil has like an SPF of like 1 or something ridiculous, it's basically just butter on your skin. People love to overcomplicate basic stuff.
