I thought those $40 scalp scrubbers were just a fad for a while.
A regular client with fine, oily hair kept asking me to use hers during her wash, and after three appointments I saw a real change in her scalp health and how her color held. Now I keep a few on hand for certain services, and it's made a difference. Has anyone else had a tool they doubted actually work out for them?

The whole silicone scrubber thing feels like one more gadget people buy because the packaging looks sleek on Instagram. I tried a cheap one from the drugstore and my skin just got more irritated, especially around my nose where it's already sensitive. A clean washcloth and a gentle cleanser has always worked fine for me without needing another plastic thing cluttering up my shower caddy.

Honestly, the real game changer for me was a cheap silicone face scrubber. My skin always felt tight after washing, but that little thing got rid of the weird film without being harsh. It made my moisturizer actually sink in for once.
