I bought a whole set of those fancy magnetic lash strips for a bridal party
In my experience, a bride wanted her whole group to have the same fluttery look for her wedding day photos. I figured the magnetic kind would be quicker and easier than glue for eight people. I spent about $85 on a high end kit, thinking it was a good investment. The day of the trial run was a mess. They wouldn't sit right on half the girls, and one kept getting her real lashes stuck in the magnet. We wasted over an hour trying to make them work before I had to run out and buy my usual glue on strips. Has anyone else tried these for a group and found a brand that actually holds up?

I mean, I had the total opposite happen. You mentioned a trial run being a mess, but for my friend's wedding we just practiced a couple times first. The trick is to get the top and bottom strips to really snap together, you gotta almost pinch your lash line. Maybe the brand you got had weak magnets? The ones I used stayed put through tears and everything.

Wait, are we really making magnetic lashes this deep? @blaker75, you're talking about pinching your lash line and snapping strips together like it's some kind of mission. It's just makeup, not rocket science. If you gotta practice multiple times for fake eyelashes, maybe they're more trouble than they're worth. The whole point is easy beauty, not a stressful project. Honestly, if a product needs that much effort, the product is the problem.
