Hit 500 hair color corrections last month and honestly I'm exhausted lol
I didn't even realize I'd done that many until I counted up my booking history, but seriously why do people think box dye is a good idea when they have greys??

See box dye as more of a convenience thing for people on a budget.

Convenience is definitely part of it but nobody talks about how box dye actually locks you into a specific color family that's hard to escape from. Once you go dark brown or black from a box it takes forever to lift that stuff out without damage. And the developers in box dye are usually stronger than what professionals use, which is why you see so many people with fried hair after a few months. Plus the color molecules in box dye are bigger so they don't fade as gracefully, you end up with that weird brassy or muddy look faster.
