Client tried to tell me how to do a balayage yesterday
Had a girl in her 20s come into the salon in Portland and hand me a blurry Pinterest pic, then she kept saying I was using too much lightener on the ends. I got fed up after the third correction and asked her if she wanted me to finish or do it herself. She shut up after that, but I bet she'll leave a bad review. Has anyone else had a customer try to micromanage the whole process?

Take a picture of that color line next time and post it in r/PlasticSurgery, because that's a correction case, not a fix-at-home job. Bleach damage like that can permanently change the hair's texture and porosity, meaning any toner you put on now will just wash out weird. She needs a hard trim and a pro who understands how to blend old color, not another bowl of anything.
